I had to file an extension for my taxes this year. I should have everything complete within a week or so though. How will this effect the status of my economic stimulus check. If they pass my number over, will I have to wait until they have gone through all of them before they back over again? Thanks.
According to the IRS:
People who file a return after April 15 will receive their economic stimulus payment, but probably about two weeks later than the schedule [for Tax Returns Processed by April 15] shows.
