I just think that it is strange that george bush introduces the economic stimulus package, and right before the checks start hitting gas prices are at record highs and climbing. I am not trying to make accusations, or claim that there is a conspiracy. Oh yeah, I purposely did not capitalize gwb’s name or initials.

Then stop making the accusation.
If you want to blame anyone, thank your liberal buddies for not allowing us to drill for oil in Alaska. It would drive the price of oil way down!
Oh, by the way, your welcome to send the check back since you hate President Bush so much.

Of course. Your stimulus package will go right in the tank, where Bush and big oil expect it to go. The final ripoff of the American people, one might say.

The “stimulus” pkg. is nothing more than a “band – aid ” trying to cover a gaping wound ! The price of gas and this pkg. of Bushs’ are in no way in sync. !

The Economic stimulus package was introduced several months ago, long before the price of gas went sky high. I do not see how this can also be blamed on Mr. Bush. The Republicans had to fight the Democrats, so everyone could act like they have our best interest at heart, this is what delayed the package., then we had to wait until the IRS could process the returns, they can not just do this in the blink of the eye. I agree with another poster, I am not stating political preference, but if you have such contempt for someone…refuse the money!

Talk about ignorant “head-in-the-sand” answers. There IS A DIRECT CONNECTION between Bush and Big Oil.
